Nature does, but if we rely on it, it takes about 300x longer for reforestation to occur. Sometimes it won't reoccur at all because there are no remaining living seed donors left in the area of the burn scar. Also we do this for areas that have been heavily logged. No seeds equals no new trees, at least not for a very long time because wind doesn't always scatter seed where you want it and birds and wildlife tend to shun burnt or logged areas as there is generally not much left there to draw them. That means they don't transport seeds via digestion to those areas like they do in natural unharmed environments.

Plus, planting greenhouse grown seedlings tends to create new forestation a heck of a lot faster than hoping seeds will germinate and grow when the top soil layer has been badly damaged.

The major problem with silviculture is that the trees are all the same age and spaced the same distance apart from each other making it look more like a tree farm than a natural forest (i.e. too much uniformity).

No problem ko, tell this pyroman where I need to lit sumthing up.
IM also experienced in throwing some wildlife into forests like beavers

Those were just for you.

Although I still don't understand the beaver throwing. :??:

Gotta BE a Superninja to understand a Superninja.

But I think he was referring to my comments about wildlife seeding through digestion. So I think he meant to say he can do the same, in the woods. Oh well, enough off topic for today. My appologies to all.

TPU has done a pretty thorough review on the 750w SF Leadex II, and while the 12v rail is excellent, SF seems to have dropped the ball on a few other things. Being predominantly European, no US market, you'd think it would be ErP compliant.

Looking at 650w units for my new 8700k build ill be doing in the near future.

What we do we think about these units?

EVGA SuperNOVA 650 SuperNOVA G2 ATX 80+ Gold 650W Full (102) £89.63
SeaSonic FOCUS Plus 650 Gold FOCUS Plus Gold ATX 80+ Gold 650W Full (0) £92.10
EVGA SuperNOVA 650 (EU) SuperNOVA G3 (EU) ATX 80+ Gold 650W Full (1) £94.02

The new Seasonics are excellent.

I believe it's a position thing. The Seasonic plats are quieter than the SuperFlower, the SuperFlower are quieter than the Seasonic Golds. But thats benchmark db, and done by reviews at different places, so to say they are all pretty much the same wouldn't be out of my purview.

From all the reviews I've read, only the 850 and 1kw models have loud, aggressive profiles. The lower capacity units do not apparently share this problem with the fan profile. Perhaps only mentioning them being loud would be better reserved for situations involving those units, rather than all G3 units.

No matter what the outcome, you really can't go wrong with Seasonic. And personally, the chances of actually being able to hear that fan at high enough loads to really punish the psu enough to get that aggressive curve, the cpu fans, gpu fans, case fans will more than drown it out easily.

Yeah, I think there is a need for these power supplies to factor in the comparative sounds of CPU, GPU card and case fans. In almost every case I've personally seen, unless it is a silent type mostly fanless system then once the system is under a hard enough load for the power supply fan to go into high gear there is, as you say, already more than enough fan noise from the cooling system that you could never hear the PSU fan above it.

I know that decibels are cumulative in theory, but in reality there comes a point where you simply can't tell if more noise has been added because the existing noise is too raucous already. They need to find a way to factor this into the reviews. If you can't hear a thing because of other things, then it honestly should carry little weight.

But I also understand it needs to be factored in some way for those systems that DO remain mostly quiet though.

Hi,
Please inform me, how is this psu (Inwin Power Man IP-S350CQ2-0 350W) ?
I am having this in my PC, working fine but I want to add a lower powerbGPU like gtx 1050 or RX 460/560/which don't require 6 pin connector, am I safe to go for one of these gpus or i must change the psu?

Friends, I have to get the only motherboard powered GPU which has the maximum tdp of 75watts, and I have intel core i5 3470S and it has the 65watts tdp, are these wattages huge for the 350watts psu?
