I'm going to go ahead and recommend you do not use it.

I dont know, i think i cant but i will ask to pay a little more for better psu and to give back this one, i only need a few months to earn some cash and buy psu but will R9 270x work for this few months before i get a better psu if i cant give back this one?If im buying a new psu i will go for some psu 600w can u suggest me cheap and good 600w psu please?

You're clearly not getting the point we're trying to get across. It's not a matter of whether it can "just" get used for a few months until you can get another one. It's the fact that ONE time could be the end of your graphics card, motherboard, cpu and power supply. The fact that the R9 270x calls for a 500w power supply and your PSU can only sustain 380w, if that, and if it doesn't burn up doing it under a full load, means it's a very bad idea. I would not recommend it. It's even possible that your PSU doesn't even have the necessary PCI power connections for your card in which case you'd have to use Molex adapters, and THAT is an additional bad idea, if that's the case.

If you can't afford 40-50 bucks for an appropriate power supply, I doubt very much you're going to be happy when not getting one causes you to have to replace the rest of your hardware in the event something catastrophic happens. Save the money, get a better power supply, protect your hardware, be happy in the long run. Otherwise, you may just end up with nothing at all.

Okay, so i shouldnt do anything with that psu, is this psu enough for R9 270x? http://www.winwin.rs/napajanje-600w-raidmax-rx-600af-80plus-bronze-pfc-12cmfan-andyson-1155756.html
its raidmax 600w and what do you think about it? is it good or not?I can buy that now and later make more money to buy r9 270x..Thanks in advance

Thats WORSE. THAT ONE WILL PROBABLY CAUSE A FIRE.

So what psu should i buy?I dont have a really big budget, I just want a psu that can hold a R9 270x nothing better than that..

what about these? http://www.gigatronshop.com/napajanja/chieftec_gpa500s8_500w_iarena_series_bulk-31891

You're going to have to spend significantly more to get a decent unit. The least expensive unit I see on that site that I'd be really comfortable with recommending is this one:

But if you absolutely had to get a lower quality unit, you COULD possibly go with one of these, but I REALLY wouldn't recommend it. It would be far better to save up for the Antec if that's what you need to do.

Robben11, the power supply is the single most important component in a PC build. It is the very last part you want to cheap out on. Using a cheap garbage power supply can literally BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN. Cheap power supplies can very easily destroy ALL of your other parts. Nobody here is exaggerating.

Hey bud, do a read through of the first post on this thread again. You will see that Cheiftec, Raidmax, and many others are very low quality and not recommended.

I don't know where you live but check the tier 1 or 2 for some good options. Even tier 3 would be better than some of the PSU's you linked.

While the Antec HCG is a better unit, I'd also accept this Antec: http://www.gigatronshop.com/napajanja/antec_napajanje_550w_vpf550_bronze-51893
Certainly it beats the stuffing out of a Coolermaster "B" series.
If you must limit your choice to Coolermaster, treat it as good for 80% of its label and you'll probably be ok, although you will also want to use a good surge protector with it, as it may be missing some protection circuits.

The CM B2 500w uses the same CWT platform as the Corsair VS series, not great, not the worst out there either. The VP550 is a Delta built unit, so yeah, it's probably not a bad choice. I don't know how I missed that unit.

darkbreeze, you are a failure. Maybe you should take some time off from here.

hahahahahaha jk jk dry those tears

Don't feel so bad, I went to the site, tried tracking down a psu for dude and didn't see anything resembling an Antec, be it the HCG or the VP. Doesn't helpuch that my phone has no translation from whatever language that was. So I'm glad somebody came up with some options.

Heralds?

Hey guys i just want to say thanks for all this help you did for me and the others. without this, I would have not known how important a psu is to your system. It is great people like this exist. it's a good thing i put away the cx750m everybody recommended to me, everybody on youtube told me it was a great psu, until i learned its secrets, i am for sure no longer buying corsair cx psu's, i just got my EVGA GS1050w it is a great psu with 80+ gold, made by Seasonic and silent fan mode which amazing and tier 1 for just under $150, i bought a large psu, just for more upgrades in the future, good thing logainofhades of reccomended it to me, thanks :). Thanks!!! and one more thing before i end of, is the corsair rm series any good, what about the hx. and lastly i knew another guy who used a cx750m on a gtx 960 and his computer blew up in sparks, he is trying to get corsair to replace his parts, lets see what happens: sad 🙁

some guy posted it on reddit, this was the only pic he took after he returned it for rma. sadly 🙁 and can you help me with some other questions

1. is the corsair hx and rm any good? some rm scored high on the tier, while some other scored low, why is this?

2. i have a question is the antec high current gamer 900w any good?, its looks good for a red themed build.
i know antec is reliable but,
on hardocp, this psu got a fail: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2011/02/15/antec_high_current_gamer_900w_power_supply_review/9
but on johnnyguru it got a pass: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=211

Corsair is kind da sneaky about names. The older HX was extremely good quality, and the newer HXi is just as good, if not better. The RM is different. While some models were good quality and had great performance, this was only well below max load. At max, thermal demons rose up quickly and would shut units down quick. By far the worst (very good quality, built by Chicony) was the RM 750 and 850w. Since then, Corsair has fixed the thermal issues (supposedly) but maintaining the RM name, so it's pot+luck which unit you get from a store. The RMi and RMx units are definitely better units than either RM, but are ridiculously over priced compared to the better performing Evga 2 or SuperFlower leadex Gold units. The Corsair AX and AXi units are still top line quality and performance, but again, over priced.

So as CTurbo said, their cheap psus are not good and their good psus are not cheap.
