Great. Thanks guys :)

Will it power a 6850 and a phenom II x4 940 (the rest of the system is pretty modest, one usb keyboard and mouse, usb wifi dongle, 2 5400rpm hdds one 7200rpm, one 120mm cpu fan and one 90mm exhaust fan)

Not a bad unit. 50% load wa shitting near 86% efficiency which is Silver so that is not bad.

Guess we will have to wait and see how it handles systems. I wouldn't buy one for myself but it looks like a decent model to recommend if the pricing is good.

I didn't see the crossfire. Anyway I think Oklahomewolf sums up CX units pretty well:
This most basic of the Corsair modular units has gained an unfair reputation over the years, and despite actually putting in a good showing of itself for us (though it did shut down in the hot box), Corsair haters pulled out their pitchforks and chased the original version all around the Internet. Excuses? They had a lot of them.

"It's only rated for thirty degrees. It's going to explode."
"Those are Capxon caps. I heard those were bad. Besides, it's going to explode."
"You can get the BargleGargle Crazypower 800W for five bucks cheaper. Why buy that Corsair junk I heard will just explode?"
"Everyone's buying Corsair. I hate fanboys. Here, let me go on a rampage against the one Corsair unit never intended for high level enthusiasts, so the fanboys suffer. Let me just set my shadenfreude to max, type the word 'explode' here along with some sciencey stuff I can't really back up, and... beautiful!"

For the last time, Internet, there's a difference between exploding and shutting down due to overtemp protection. Junk units don't have overtemp protection... those are the ones that explode. Do I still think thirty degrees is unnecessarily low? Heck, yeah. But remember what I said - this is not supposed to be a top of the line power supply. It's a budget unit. You want forty degrees? Buy one so rated, like an RM unit.

Reminds me of the junk people would say on Linus Tech Tips.

I think a closing point (esp. re: Newegg) is worth mentioning: You need to be sure to get the new one, not the old CX750M. Part numbers apparently didn't change, which will allow vendors to sneak out the old ones for a while longer. That won't help Corsair's reputation any (their fault or not); I'd have used a different model number.

Hey guys, is Xigmatek shogun or tauro any good? they are the only ones available in my country along with overpriced thermaltake/evga
And i can't seem to find any reviews for them other than they are bronze

i will but only in january i had a cheap psu that, worked fine for like 5 months on my had and like 2 years on the previous owner, it burned in a thunder storm, i bought a new one better

MARS GAMING MPII 650 W

but my pc keeps rebooting when gaming if i take any action besides gaming, like opening the controls menu, and i have to underclock my gpu (gtx 560 ti asus) to even open the game besides gaming, it works fine

my budject is 50 euros

site is this http://www.alientech.pt/index.php?cPath=180_14 sorry its in portuguese

Works until January or works fine until January? One that only works till January probably doesn't work fine. The most important characteristics of a power supply are its voltage stability and ripple. Neither of these do much harm to the PSU but they degrade the other parts in your comouter, reduce the lifespan. You can make a PSU with the most reliable components, one that lasts 15 years, but if it's electrical performance sucks all your other stuff will not be durable over time.
