Hello everyone, not sure if this is the right location for this issue, but here's what is happening to me:

I have a problem that I noticed only while playing PUBG. This may not be related to this game but while I play it, totally random, the screen goes black, and I still hear teammates or other sounds, they can't hear me back. The monitor goes off like there's no signal at all.

Pressing the restart button on the case to restart the pc it boots straight to BIOS where it shows NO Boot Device - my Corsair Force MP600 NVME is not recognized by the bios/pc, press restart again, same story. Unplug the Power Cable, press Power On, to clean pc of power, connect the power again, and press power - the computer starts back to Windows like nothing happened.

The first time I had this issue was when I installed the BIOS version 4602 from the Asus website - after the bios installation was completed, the pc restarted to finish/exit bios, but it got back to bios with NO NVME C:\ detected - reset from the button, same results. Remove the power cable, and start again - worked perfectly. ... until I play PUBG when it does it almost every single match, totally random.

Today I installed the latest BIOS version - 4802, and all Mobo drivers from the Asus website, but the problem is still there.

Temperatures, Voltages, Hardware Ussage, everything seem to be normal.

PUBG Gameplay - iCue Stats - Google Drive Image Link:

My PC Config:
CPU - Z System Test Report Link
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor
  • Mobo: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PRO (WI-FI)
  • RAM: Corsair 2x 16Gb
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
  • C:\ Drive: Force MP600
  • Model #3 Capacity 500 GB Fixed, SSD - Bus: NVMe
  • PSU: Corsair HX1200i
  • OS: Windows 10 - latest update.
What I believe can be the reason! .. About 3 weeks ago, I got the new Corsair HX1200i PSU, and after installing it, my Windows 10 didn't show the PIN to log in. An issue that I couldn't fix, but to apply a C: drive Full Backup made with Acronis from last December 2022. After applying the backup I also reinstalled all the drivers including the update to BIOS 4602 from above, the moment when I had this issue for the first time.

Sorry for the long post, hope you can give me some ideas on how to deal with this random black screen while gaming.

Did you clear the CMOS after you'd verified that the BIOS was updated to the latter version?

I'd try and backup all mission critical data and then fabricate a bootable USB installer using Windows Media Creation Tools, remove all drives apart from the one you wish to install the OS on, then reinstall the OS in an offline mode. Once OS install is over, manually install all drivers relevant for your platform in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

I haven't remove the battery... I'll have to take the video card out for that. - I'm less positive about any hardware issues - more backup boot drive bios config or anything related to it.

Yes, re-installing Windows may solve this issue. I was just hopping for a solution that would require less time - reinstalling windows and all the apps. That's why usually I keep C:\ backups... Maybe the backup isn't all compatible with the new bios update settings...

Here's a screenshot of the Events Viewer before a black screen during PUBG gameplay.

Coming back here...
I was not able to find a solution for this Kernel Power event yet, but I went ahead and upgraded my C:\ M.2 NVMe SSD drive from a Corsair MP600 to a Samsung 980. This has required me to reinstall Windows. and I went ahead and installed Steam and all the games again as well. about 1.5Tb.

Unfortunately, PUBG still has the exact same crashing problem, but this time when the PC restarts it finds the C:\ drive and boots back to windows...

I checked and found a Memory.dmp file. how can I check any reasons behind the restart?https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ij0uAmdGBok8xPdKq4xTkiKNAoSg58Ny/view?usp=sharingPlease
Please let me know.
