Hello, my Kraken Z73 has started making rattling noises months ago and I'm not really in a position to get anything new right now, so I need to make do with what I have. I tried a few things to make sure it's not just air bubbles but nothing has worked. But the rattling itself is not really why I'm writing this. What I have noticed is that, even though in my NZXT software I have the pump set to a fixed 30% (about max speed before I start hearing the rattling), the pump is pretty silent normally but the rattling ramps up when the CPU is under load anyway, even though the pump speeds stay the same. This confused me because I thought the noise was tied to how fast the pump is going but since it's set to a fixed speed and the rattling varies anyway, this threw me for a loop. Was wondering if there is anything software related I could do to fix this? It seems like the NZXT software is lying to me when it tells me the speed is fixed.

I have always read that the PUMP should be 100% or 90% as a minimum. Most motherboards with a specific pump connection have a fixed 100% setting. Not sure what a 30% duty cycle does to the motor ...
