Hello,

I've got a bay in my laptop for a second hard drive, and I'm trying to choose between one of these:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007605%20600030592%20600003341%20600003459&IsNodeId=1&name=SATA%203.0Gb%2fs

If I go for the WD with 32 MB Cache over the others which only have 8 MB Cache, will I notice a big difference in performance? My primary hard drive is identical to this drive, only difference is the cache is 8 MB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136566). If I get the 32 Cache one, should I make it the primary drive? Is the performance difference worth the extra 7-8 bucks in shipping?

This is my laptop:

Dell Studio 17 (1735) Laptop: Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 (2.00GHz/667Mhz FSB/2MB cache)
4 GB RAM (667MHZ 2X2GB)
Western Digital Scorpio Blue 320 GB 5400 RPM 3.0 Gb/s 8 MB Cache
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650
Windows 7 Enterprise

Thanks,

N.

thanks I thought as much. perhaps the 7$ bucks saved will be enough to buy an hard drive adapter that I'm pretty sure isn't included with the drive and isn't already in the laptop... (sigh)
