Is this supposed to be how it looks?

At the ends of the tubes are going to be compression fittings 😀

I'd opt for an external rad mount :)
but your idea is still good...and yeah what modo mentioned is for a far cleaner tubing layout, however, you might might want to think about elbows or thicker walled tubing so they don't kink and if the case is not with a side panel...you could get away with using zipties and lower radi tubing and avoid kinks.

I had thought of using at least one right angle from the rad back to the res, everything else would be straight runs,
although you could use two R.a.'s and cabletie the tubing together for an Ocd looking like a single tube run 😛
and once the bugs truly bitten he can add a 360 on the top on mounts and put his Gfx car onto the loop
*Edit, save me googling, what case am that again? is it a 690? Nvm, found it, painting up now

by having it like this the tubing will be much neater, you will cable tie one behind the other as hopefully shown on the yellow/white and only have to separate near the rads fittings and res, and your airflow will be uber :)

the EX can operate at low speeds but they are a mix between the RX+RS rads. The RS were for loud setups - the RX were for low noise setups. The EX tends to be a mix between the two however it leans to the RS side a lot more than the RX.

I've learnt that mix+matching fans don't always work well. best to have the same spec'd fans on both ends of going push/pull.

maybe its my setup, but others may have a better way to make mix+matching work.

as far as I know kill coils do not deteriorate over time, but as for alternatives, of course there are. I use water wetter in my system, but a 50% Listerine 50% distilled water run through the system then drained and refilled with distilled water or different type of coolant you use works well to prep and clean a new system for use.

Sorry for absence man, no wifi at work is really affecting my toms attendance hehe
killcoils always as Lutfij said, it doesn't take bacteria long to grow in warm water, let alone a few weeks :)
fans on a rad should always be matched, that way when your controllers at halfway, you know all fans are pushing the same cfm, no stressing of lesser powered fans or burning out higher ones,
The Ex's are supposedly high fpi which should require faster fans, but mine are happy blowing at 6v/1k rpm with a nice delta, but thats my loop in my house, which won't be the same as yours obv, so experiment as you say, see what works in your set up/house best

again : distill+kill coil and your fine. There's copper sulphate that you can in drops but either kill coil or the drops not the two together. If its an EK parts loop - the two will strip the nickel off your blocks and make you throw up.

adding coolant to the loop dos affect the delta in your loop, in fact you reduce flow in your loop by adding coolant like a mixture of engine coolant and others. Nothing beats distilled waters viscosity and flow.

and modo's mentioned the thing with the fans.

@ modo - mod your wifi 😛

Its my employers network, any sniffing to find access is gross misconduct as well as a criminal offence and would see me on the dole faster than I could tidy cables hehe
I am in the process of doing something to enable wifi access, but cannot discuss it in forum :)
