[SOLVED] Push pull config exhaust or intake?

Whats better, setting a push/pull config as a intake or an exhaust?
The push/pull will be my cpu aio cooler (clc 280), it is at the top as it is too wide for the front.

My specs

i7 7700k @5.1 (60c when gaming)
GTX 1080 (blower style card)
MSI Z270 Gaming M7
16gb G.skill ripjaws V
CLC 280 AIO - EVGA


I do have more options for fan spaces like 3 120 fans in the front, and a 140 in the back.
Right now i have a positive air flow, meaning i mainly have intakes and i let my gpu exhaust out as i was told this is the best option for my setup that i have.

It doesn't really matter if you do the 'fan sandwich' or not, because the overclocked 7700K's power output comes nowhere close to the cooling capacity of a 280mm radiator.
A 7700K OC run through Prime95 Small FFT, AVX disabled, sees around 150-160w. A 280mm rad has a thermal capacity of 300w.
The liquid + rad will have done much of the work already, so the fans - however you choose to have them set up - won't have to do much at all.

Do whichever setup you most feel like doing.

Thank you so much! Yeah I’ve seen that in the past before that’s why I was confused because while some sees results, I don’t and I should just follow with what I see... again thank you! Also is deliding worth it? I love to overclock right now I have the cpu at 5.1 ghz it runs 100% load at 60c cap @1.36v

That's going to vary by personal opinion. I'm in the party that believes it is, but I'm not comfortable doing it myself - at least, I wasn't with my 7820X.
I wasn't prepared to replace it if I happen to screw up, so I sent it off to Silicon Lottery to have them do it and even paid for them to bin it as well - it wasn't a golden sample, unfortunately; 4.6ghz max.

I love to overclock right now I have the cpu at 5.1 ghz it runs 100% load at 60c cap @1.36v

Ah that sucks and i let my "valorant" run in the background as a test although it doesn't spike my temps like Prime95 it typically finds bad clocks fast and it didn't crash, i'm going to also run realbench and prime95 to make sure... Also yeah haha i'm not prepared as i'm young so typically i don't have the money to replace it but it's def a learning experience, i took apart my gpu to replace the thermal paste and to clean it although that's not as dangerous it being my first time was a experience to say the least haha... :)

Prime 95 Small FFT, AVX off is best used for cpu cooler thermal test. It does not make for a good voltage stability test because the load is much too steady.
Asus Realbench is a better voltage stability test, but Cinebench R20 'Infinite Loop' is even better.

Okay I’ll try that, right now I’m playing with my volts to find a stability, with Realbench

Quick Question and update, I wasn’t stable on cenima with the 1.36 but I was stable with 1.42 at 5.1 should I just got 5.0ghz and drop it more because I can prob get 1.36 at 5ghz not sure but I can def test I knows it’s a 2% performance decrease but also a bragging rights :(
