Computer was working fine, but at boot up I would get an error message drive bad back up and replace. So, eventually took out the SSD, sitll under warranty so Samsung sent me a refurbished one. I just put the new SSD to install an OS and the display is not working!

I tried hooking it up via AVI, HDMI and DVI wires, did not work. I tried hooking up a different monitor, still nothing.

Obviously error is on the computer end. I checked to make sure everything is plugged in tight on the motherboard, and I blew all the dust out. I am using a separate graphics card, not the integrated graphics from the motherboard. When I turn the computer on, I can see all the fans spinning. That's about all I can think of to report. Any ideas why the display would not work?

Thanks!

Can you post a bit more info on the specs of your PC? The only three things I can think of is:
1. The SSD you got put it over the 600W threshold and that could be causing it.
2. The PCIe 6-pin or 8-pin power connection isn't plugged in/loose
3. ESD fried it.

Thanks for your response! I finally figured it out. I unplugged the power to my graphics card and the integrated graphics display worked. So I thought the graphics card just crapped out. When I went to take the graphics card out of the computer I realized that I had the DVI and HDMI wires plugged into the motherboard, not the graphics card. Face palm!
