q6600

ok i just tested it at 1.29v @3.0 mhz for 6 hours with prime and it is stable...
is that voltage decent or should i try to bring it even more down?

Thats good for 3.0GHZ.
I OC'd mine to 3.0GHZ with 1.325 voltage and now @ 3.4 my voltage is 1.4125 and my CPU temp is 25c idle and 42c @ full load and my core temps are 38-40 idle and 55-58 full load

Mine worked at 3.0ghz with 1.265V

Remember voltage increases temperature exponentially, it's the key to low temps.

currently i'm clocking mine at 3.2 ghz, 400mhz x 8 multi with ddr2 800 memory with the fsb clocked at 1600mhz on a gigabyte ga-ep45-ds3l and ocz memory, cpu temps at 38 and voltage at 1.392 going up to 1.408 at max running stable for 2 weeks now since I got this motherboard.

mine was originally 3.15 at 1.28 and now I'm running prime for 2 hrs at 3.6GHz and 1.45625, I think it's going to be the final voltage or maybe one stop higher.

hey im running prime for 4 hours now my processor hasnt failed, its at 3.0ghz with only 1.25v, the thing is that voltage is too low and im afraid im messing with the wrong voltage...

the name is: CPU VIT Voltage.
