Q8400 5400 RPM or Q8300 7200 RPM?

Hello, URGENT! Am looking for a desktop - HP has the 6240 @ Q8300 72K RPM vs HP 6340 @Q8400 54K RPM. Will the higher RPM make up for less processing power?- I assume it is better to go 7200 when processor's are that close (I hope I can switch my order).

You're better off getting the q8300 with the 7200rpm hard drive. The decrease in CPU speed will be negligible. But the decrease in hard drive rpm's would be very noticeable.
