Best of all time CIV2 -- nothing even comes close. Been playing CIV for almost 20 years since CIV1 came out. Still exciting, a different game every time, still feels new. It's like chess that way. Play it for a lifetime. The only other games I have played for a long time are Doom and recently Runescape for the last 2 years. Always come back to Civ2 though.

i can still remember CrossFire, Contra and Legnd of the Kage from my NINTENDO Family Computer (SNES) years! Hehehehe, loved them so much.

Currently the games that struck me would be Starcraft, Praetorians, Dreamfall: Longest Journey, CoD Series, FEAR, Half-Life and WarCraft

[citation][nom]hallowed_dragon[/nom]The best: StarcraftSecond, tie : Warcraft 2~3, Diablo 2, Morrowind, Oblivion, COD:WAW, Unreal Tournament (all), World of WarcraftThird : Loki[/citation]

AAAAGGGGGHHHHHH, I loved Flashback, the most advanced game I've played for it's time, but my fav game wil be between Baldur's Gate 1+2 and Planescape Torment

Final Fantasy VII - with all the add-ons that improved graphics, and an AWE32, it was miles above the PSX version.

Too bad it was such a crappy port that it ran under Windows 2000/XP only when the phases of the Moon were just right.

Doom II gets my vote... I remember playing for hours on end on a 386 with the window shrunk up over a 28k modem with a neighbor... I upgraded the family computer with my summer job money (to a 486 DX4-100) just so I wouldn't get my ass kicked so much from lag.

Prince of persia
Max Payne
Black and white
Need for speed - 4, Underground 1,2, Most wanted
Cossacs - European wars
Command and conquer generals

I haven't been into PC gaming for very long, but I thought the first Red Faction was a great game, I loved blowing holes everywere. RTCW was really good too.
Today, I really like GRID, COD4,DMC4, and I thought HL2 was amazing for it's time. GRID is also the first PC racing game I feel is as fun as the Grand Turismo series was on consoles, it's like GT with drifting. :)

Battlezone for ever:

All games of the legacy of kain series!
Also like Outcast, Monkey Island, Prince of Persia 1, Command and Conquer, Comandos...

Of course Flashback was one of my first game but I play a LAN with duke3D and POD. Ihave also big fun with bf1942 and its mod.
But now I play Guild Wars & Left 4 Dead. It's very hard to have a favorite game.
So in the first game that was D3D and for the newest game GW.

Ultima 5
Star Control 2
ALL classic Sierra adventure games, no exceptions
XCOM
TIE Fighter
Master of Orion
Master of Magic
Monkey Island 1 and 2

Played lots but inferior to those above:
Starcraft
Diablo 2
WoW
Morrowind

total annihilation changed the way I looked at strategy games forever!
It will always have a special place in my heart but im pretty keen on
commander keen lol

For me it's Grim Fandango, adventure games like that and monkey island series and the last express don't come out anymore.

My all time favorit is Starcraft. It is the game that had the biggest impact on me and we played it with my friends day and night. The gameplay is incredible and those who played it know what i mean, the game is very addictive. There are many great games but i don't really see how can a FPS be someone's all time favorite (unless of course he/she played only shooters 🙂)

-any half life game
-dungeon keeper II
-nox
-if I can beat my fear and finish it, dead space(so far so good)
