Quadcore vs Duelcore.

Was just wondering, if my stock psu of 250watts will be able to run a 2.5ghz cpu, as it runs a quad core 1.8ghz, ive heard quads use more power, help?

i meant 2.5ghz duel core.

The TDP ( thermal design power, basically how much power it will use on max) of any processor would be available on the manufacturer's website.
