Question Query regarding Turbo Boost Technology ?

If we have a program which requires 2 GHZ processor to run, then can we run it with a CPU which has a base clock speed of 1.19 GHZ but with the help of Intel Turbo Boost Technology can reach speeds upto 3.4 GHZ ?

Basically, when they say that it requires a 2ghz processor, they usually mean that the processor should be capable of attaining and maintaining 2ghz speed as per the software requirement, with or without Turbo.
Should work fine.

If you tell people the software they might give you better answers.
If it only needs one core at 2Ghz then it is so old that it will run super well on this CPU.If it needs an 8core CPU at 2Ghz...
