Question Query regarding WhatsApp Status feature

I am using WhatsApp version 2.19.115 (Android 5.1). I have enabled Status visibility in Privacy options to 'My Contacts'. Another person is not having my contact number in his contact list and I am having his contact number in my Contact list. If I post a status so will that status be visible to him?

I would contact Whatsapp and ask support that for an answer you could remotely trust

Since you have selected privacy option to be "My contacts" and you have mentioned that you have that person in your contact list so your status will be visible to that person. You can select the privacy as "My contacts except" and then select that persons contact so that he wont be able to see your status
