guys i got mobo that supports 2400mhz ram and wanted to know if anything will go bad if i stick 2666mhhz or will it just put it on 2400mhz thanks

No real way of telling until it's tried
- The PC will boot, and downclock the 2666 RAM to 2400.
- The PC will not boot.
