Question Question about memory upgrade on an Asus laptop

I have a 2018 Asus ROG Strix Scar edition gl703ge. It currently has 16 gb RAM. I'm considering upgrading that. Is it worth doing on a 7 year old machine?

Yeah, it looks like I can get the RAM from Amazon for maybe $50. But the CPU is 7 years old as is the GPU. For $50-60 though, maybe it gives me another year or two of use, and I can save for a new machine.
