Hello Everyone,

I am new to the site and new to PCs. I am sure this has been asked alot of times but I am struggling with what motherboard to go with as well was a power supply brand. Below are what items i am going to be using in the build. For the power supply I am thinking a 750 watt unit.

CPU : Intel I7-10700
GPU : ASUS ROG STRIX Geforce RTX 2070 super advance over clock. ( open to other brands)
Ram : TeamGroup T- Force delta 16gb (2x8gb) 3200
Storage : Samsung 860 QVO 1tb ssd.

I havent picked anything else out so open to ideas on the motherboard. Looking to stay below $270.

Thank you.

There's a ROG Strix Z490-H that will definitely be a good option for you to go for. Since the LGA 1200 Socket is still relatively new the prices for most of the motherboards are quite high. I also suggest waiting if you haven't bought the RTX 2070 yet for the RTX 3000 series to come available in a couple of weeks since they have better performance for a lower price, and the motherboard I've mentioned is this: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-ROG-Z49...00&qid=1599029560&rnid=2941120011&s=pc&sr=1-3

Use PCPartPicker. It is meant for selecting parts for your build and the forum is much more specialized for that purpose. I'd also recommend an AMD chip instead, Intel has been lagging behind lately. Please mention what this PC build is for as well. For gaming, an i7/Ryzen 7 is mostly unnecessary. For PSU, there are many reliable companies. Corsair, EVGA and SeaSonic are the better ones imo. I like Corsair the most, but it's not a huge thing. I'm currently using the PSU that came with the prebuilt I bought. I should probably replace it when the warranty runs out lol.
