I'm going to be buy a SSD for the first time soon because I've heard from other gamers like myself that they are very good to have in your system. I'm going to use it to replace the 500G standard harddrive I'm currently using right now and I don't plan on transfering anything over to the SSD from this drive.

My question is this: Is there any special things I need to do with a SSD to get it working in my system? Or do I just plug it into the system and install my OS like normal? (I'll be using Windows 7 for my OS).

Thanks! :)
