I'm brand new to the pc world so any bit of assistance with my issue is much appreciated (no matter how dumbed down you have to explain it to me lol). I built my first pc a few days ago in a sff build in the Ncase M2 Round. I loved putting this case together as well as assembling all of the components and managed to get everything running first try which I was proud of haha. I played a few hours of various games in 4k like Arma Reforger, CS2, and Stalker 2. I noticed a lot of the times the fans were full blasting and I could see my cpu temps going from 70-72 to 80-84 at random times it would spike. During my setup I kind of had a hard time getting the cooler on the cpu. Had to take it on/off a few times with the thermal paste already on because I couldnt get the screws to thread when setting the cooler on top. I was surpised at how much issue this gave me, but eventually I got it to sit. I'm not sure if this could've affected my issue here but figured I'd add it.
I downloaded fan control as well but I'm not really sure how to set anything up for fan curves or anything like that. When playing any of the above games everything was basically on full blast, making tons of noise, and GPU temps hovered around 65-73 C and CPU around 72-75 & 80-84. I understand this is basically inside of a toaster but I'm wondering if there are any steps I can take to maybe help this a little more? Is there anything you guys recommend I do that'll help with noise/temps? I currently have the gpu fans and cooler fan set up as intake, and a Noctua 140mm fan on the side bracket acting as exhaust. I'm not sure if you can see in the picture provided, but I think I have room for two 120mm Noctua fans between the MOBO and PSU that I also intended to set up as exhaust. Is this a good idea? I have so many questions and am completely new to this so please share any feedback/guidance you have for a newcomer in the PC world.
ps. in Bios I set up Expo to get the full potential of the ram but that's it.
