I am thinking of upgrading my rig (http://pcpartpicker.com/b/fJ6XsY) to a Titan X (Pascal).

My question is whether it is reasonable to ask $560 (20%) markdown for a used, but still in perfect condition, EVGA GTX 1080 Founders Edition?

Also, is it possible to pass on my warranty with EVGA to the person who I sell to?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Reasonable to ask for? Absolutely.

Realistically though, while it's a 20% markdown on EVGA's founders edition card - an ASUS FE 1080 is listed for $595 currently. You'd have to consider that when negotiating a sale - why would someone pay you $560 for a 'used' (albeit lightly) card, when a comparable new card, being the first owner etc can be had for $35 more...*

Not saying you can't get $560 out of it, but there are considerations.

Also, an ASUS Strix (so non-FE) card is listed at $630 currently*. It might be tough to sell an FE, especially if any buyer is looking to OC...

*What you do have though, is the availability - you have it in hand to sell/ship right away. Those other cards are out of stock or are on backorder - so plan to the strengths you have. Sell it based on availability alone.
