Hey waiting for my last watercooling parts and I just wonderd if I could do the small bends like i.e the bend into the pump instead of using a 90 degree angle, like how I feel is like I feel it's supposed to work and like why not and I feel like I've seen it somewhere else, but I just wanted to make sure so I would order the fittings in case it wouldn't work. Only reason I would think it wouldn't be possible is if it's such a short bend so the tube would crack when cutting it smaller. (using PETG so it shouldn't.)

TL;DR: I am wondereing if I can do the 90 degree bends instead of buying 90 degree angled fittings. Only talking about like where it is the bend then it's just like 10mm until the fitting. Imo, it should work.

Solution
All those fittings and hoses are industrial standard for hydraulic and pneumatic machines and controls not necessarily made just for computers. I worked on many such systems for automatic machines and robotics. Rule of the thumb for bending unarmored hoses is 6 to1. That's to say, for every hose bend, the bend should be no tighter than 6 times hose diameter otherwise it may kink specially when it warms up.

I meant like can you the these bends instead of buying the 90 degree fitting or will it be so tight it might get fked or something, just thought that maybe it would crack, this is PETG though so it shouldn't.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-Z8EqFvzoo if you look at that video and by the pump and res combo, can't I use make the bend into the pump instead of buying that 90 degree fitting?

Think of a ruler, so if we say the bend is at 0cm, and the entry point to the fitting is at 2cm, will it work? This is to say I bend it with like 10cm to spear. So it won't kick, that's what I thought also, if there is super little tubing and it has to be bent, it's most likely going to kink, (PETG).

Ah ok, thanks man! I am going to use the PETG from EKWB, 12/10mm, got like 3x 2 pieces of 500mm tubing. Should be fine for the first time, only doing CPU this time, next time another rad + gpu!
