Is there any fan for a low profile optiplex 745? Cause my current fan is loud as a nuke. So is there any quiet fan for low profile optiplex 745?

Solution
They are proprietary on those small cases and won't find an exact fit most likely unless you get the same one. The real question is do you have the 745 SFF or the USFF. The SFF just one the one CPU fast right in the middle. The USFF have two small fans on in the front and one in the back on the bottom.

The SFF uses a 80x80x38 which a normal fan is 80x80x15 which WILL work if you get one. They use Rubber Garments to hold those in. As far as brand goes I like cooler master fans.

The USFF uses a 60x60x38 fan and is also held in my rubber garments so you can get a thinner fan. Not sure of what brand to get or who all carries this size.

Now the thing you have to look out for is they have again a proprietary 4 pin connector. Normal fan...
1) You can try to look up Fans that care the same size. Not sure if they will fit entirely.

2) Because they are so small they have to spin at a fast RPM to get enough air flow over the CPU. If you ever turn on a Rack server VS a Tower server you will hear the difference because Rack servers use small high RPM and Towers use fewer Bigger lower RPM fans.

That didn't really answer my question, "You can try to look up Fans that care the same size. Not sure if they will fit entirely." If that was the case i would probably already have gotten one.
I need a specific option.

Now the thing you have to look out for is they have again a proprietary 4 pin connector. Normal fan connectors will not connect to it. So you will either have to 1) Do some splicing, but make sure you get a 4 pin model or you will have to press F1 because it doesn't detect the fan or 2) connect to 4pin molex and deal with pressing F1 everything you boot because it can't detect the fans.

Also again like I said these things cool the whole PC. There is a reason why they are so loud is because they are trying to cool the CPU, in a smaller area which means it gets hotter faster. They run at a High RPM for a reason so that they can cool it better. Getting slower, quieter fans may pose over heating issues.
