Radeon 9500 PRO and GTA 3

I just bought an OEM version of the 9500 PRO and am having problems with the card when I play Grand Theft Auto 3. As I drive or walk around I get this strange screen anomoly where lines and triangles are drawn from the center of the screen screwing up the picture. It looks like a vortex that I am getting sucked into. I can't play the game because I can't see anything.

It was working just fine in this computer with my rage fury 128 card before. I formatted and reinstalled the OS with the new 9500 PRO card and it has a problem.

Any advice?

What did we do before we had computers?

Try asking around on GTA game forums. There will be alot of card-specific knowledge there.

If you find something tell me cuz my FX5600 had a similar problem. F***** up textures... Probably gonna get rid of the card anyway but its the only game with texture problem...Oh and im talking about GTA-VC tough...
