So I read this review of the Gainward 9600 XT where a guy used a 200W PSU (and he didn't mention any stability issues), so what are the chances that my 180W PSU will run a 9600 XT?

The "best" card I have used with my 180W was a Gainward 5600 XT (no stability issues).

Thanks.

Well nothing too special, not including all the obvious stuff:

A Celeron 1.2GHz (Tualatin)
Two PC133 memory sticks
Two hard drives
One CD-RW drive
A PCI network card
A 90mm system fan

I've got an XP2500+, and a Pinnacle capture card, and 2hard drives, 512meg ddr, and a 9600xt on a 200 watt psu. Stable even when playing half-life 2. So without the Pinnacle, you should run great.

Oh and a dl dvd burner. forgot that one.

Got a Dell 4300S with that also has a 180W PSU. It has a Pentium 4 1.7MHz processor, 40GB HD, CD writer, 768MB RAM, and a 3.5" floppy drive that I rarely use. Would a Evga e6200 card be feasible? If not are there other low profile video cards available that would work?
