Radeon 9800SE, 9600/pro/GF5600

I would like to purchase a new graphics accelerator. My budget is around US$150. I am looking for ATI Radeon 9800SE, 9600/Pro, or Nvidia Geforce FX5600. Which one has the best price/performance ratio? Also, is ATI's Catalyst driver is stable then ever before or close to Nvidia Detonator FX driver?

The 9800 is virtually identical to the 9700 Pro, but with a few minute advantages.
