Radeon HD 6850 Price Drop?

Hey Guys, I just got some gift certificates to newegg for X-mas and they are burning a hole in my pocket.

I just started playing SWTOR, and I definitely need a graphics card upgrade, as I'm using a Radeon HD 4830. (I just ran benchmarks and I'm getting P6465 in FutureMark, and 11701 in 3DMark 2006.) I'm getting I'm looking at a 6850, as that is within my price range, power supply (Cooler master Extreme Power Plus 460), and will still run SWTOR maxed.

In researching, I saw that AMD is pushing out the 7000 series very soon, and the general suggestion is to wait as the prices on the 6000 series will drop. I'm curious what everyone thinks the new price point will be. I don't think waiting 2-3 weeks for a $20 price drop is worth it, but a $40-50 price drop might be.

Don't expect $40-50 price drop on 6850/6870 as AMD will be releasing high end GPU's first (7950/7970) so it won't affect the mid range 6000 series much or won't at all.

Also, you could get this 6870 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102948 for the price of 6850.
