Also the Titan Z is cooler and it it doesn't require a closed loop water cooler. Though if you're buying expensive cards like this your case should be able to support that kind of cooling.
The Titan Z has been tested to run over 80 Degrees Celsius, the Radeon card cannot go over 75 Degrees Celsius by default. I didn't realize that bigger numbers meant it ran cooler. That's new
Oh crap, a closed loop water cooler beats a fan by 5 degrees guys. The quality of the Radeon card surely must be better and not questionable in any way, shape, or form!
Actually, the charts here on Toms show a max of 67 C under heavy load, and I've never seen it reported at more than 70 C on other sites. The Titan Z heats up to 82/83 C and then starts throttling clock speeds (much faster than you might think), so under normal load, that's a difference of "a little warm" vs. "noticeably hot" (cooler GPUs last longer, btw).
