[SOLVED] RAID 0 vs AMD StoreMI

So StoreMI is incompatible with any non-AHCI drive configuration.

Is there any info regarding the comparative performances of each?
(this is said from the standpoint of someone who has access to both)

Update: if you come across this, I misread what StoreMI does and my question is no longer valid.

I'm under the imrpession that StoreMI is merely linking a small SSD as essentially a cache drive for a larger spinning drive to give SSD-like speeds. ANd it seems to worrk, from whatt I've read, but....

With the the cost of even 500 GB NVME drives down to $105 or less, I see little use for the feature anymore..... (only my opinion, of course)

With SSDs, using RAID 0 to speed things up and second party caching tools were pretty much made obsolete, not worth the trouble and extra point of failure for any benefit. Pretty much what availability of large disks did for disk compression.
