Yea, I guess that was my question. I've just been confused because I've read that the latency can also make RAM techinically faster than slower speeds with higher latency. By faster do you mean all around or just the mhz?

Both have the same CL18 latency according to the links given.

Latency and MHz both factor into performance. If the latency is the same, higher clock speed is better
