Hi,

I'm planning on upgrading my system on Black Friday and this motherboard is confusing me. (https://www.asus.com/de/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-x570-plus-wi-fi/)

I plan on getting new CPU AMD 5800x3d and a new set of RAM sticks, preferably 2x16GB, 3600MHz CL 16 or even CL14 (example of RAM I would get: https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleic...ddr4-36000-c16-kf436c16rb1k2-32-kingston.html)

I can't find anywhere the information if my motherboard supports those RAM speeds. According to the official QVL the sticks are not listed.

Does anyone have more insight into this topic?

Thanks!

Solution
That board supports memory speeds up to 5100mhz but I would recommend just getting 3600mhz sticks. If you can find and afford a set of CL14 DIMMs then that would be optimal. That would also make them B-die sticks, which is even more desirable.

Thank you. Unfortunately I'll have to go with CL16 because CL14 sticks costs almost twice as much where I live.
