On the G.Skill website, the RAM I purchased is listed on the qvl list as compatible with the msi b450 gaming carbon ac, but on the msi motherboard website, the RAM isn't listed as compatible.

I've been having trouble booting (no connection to monitor despite fans and rgb turning on the motherboard, DRAM LED is on), and I was wondering how likely is it that the RAM being incompatible is causing the boot issue?
I have tried flashing the bios to the newest update, resetting the CMOS and reshuffled the RAM to try and make the sticks work, but to no avail.

I'd say that it's likely enough that I would try different RAM.

RAM can be finicky.

.....I'm not sure how true this is....but I've read that Ryzen might be a little extra finicky.
