Hi ,
Is normal to a computer with intel chipset the RAM frequency have higher or lower values according to CPU load ? I bought one intel Laptop today and I´ve not used an intel CPU for a long time ... I have been using always my desktop that always had an AMD CPU even after upgrading it recently I have sticked with AMD and on my desktop the RAM frequency is always the same , I am a bit outdated about intel "new" technologies sometimes , and I saw this scenario when I looked at CPU-Z for checking RAM frequency and I remembered to ask here about this .

LAPTOP MODEL

Asked for some help on the matter and it's normal. Something i hadn't noticed before.

Any idea why ram speed is changing here in cpuz? Something new, maybe sensor glitch?

Checked my RAM frequency from CPU-Z and it also changes around a bit. In ranges from: 1502.6 - 1504.4 Mhz, while PC is idling (when i type this).

Though, RAM frequency is never constant 2400/2666/3000, instead, it fluctuates around slightly at all times.

As far as I get, the speed is constant, small fluctations are just a result of speed calculation. And if clocking down is a feature of DDR5, we will see it, but I don't think now it applies to DDR4 and will be applied in the future.

By the way my RAM speed also fluctuates between 1599.2 to 1600.4.

And it's always calculating the ram speed ? sometimes it goes up to 300 mhz more like from 1000 to 1300mhz ....
