Ram needed?

my setup:

is there any need for 16gb 1600 ram instead of 8 gb or will the ekstra 8 gigs be unused.
will probably do use this computer for gaming.

Currently no! 8GB of ram is fine for gaming,16gb will have no impact for gaming.
