I have an ASUS ROG B450-F with an R7 2700x and just upgraded to 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM rated at 3000mhz.
I know that out of the box it runs 2133, so I've tried overclocking with the D.O.C.P that is detected by the motherboard, which is 15-15-17-36.
Using the D.O.C.P, it boot loops until it brings me back to BIOS, so I tried manually changing my timings and memory speeds.
Currently, I have posted to windows with 2933mhz and 20-20-20-42, which I know is really stretching it due to what my sticks are rated for...
My question is, why is my system being so strict with my RAM? what am I doing wrong? D.O.C.P should work fine. Should...
R7 2700x OC'd to 4.2 with an NZXT Kraken x52//GPU: EVGA FTW GTX 1070ti Ultra Silent
