I think some additional information is needed.

download the scan and scan your computer it should tell you what kind of ram you have.

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Since the installation only takes a few minutes, you will not need a big amount of RAM. With 1GB or more you can install perfectly a printer. Even I think that with 512MB you can do it.
