I have installed a RAMDISK on windows XP using the NTFS
File System. The Ramdisk will not work is there a file
that I need to change the security settings on to make it
work. I have installed a RAMDISK on windows xp using FAT32
file system and it works fine. I have checked the registry
entries and they match but the machine with the NTFS
system will not work.

Can anyone offer advice?

How much system RAM do you have, what is the amount of
virtual memory and how much ramdisk did you set aside? The
total must leave enough to run the system.

Are you making a statement or asking a question ?
Please clarify.

IMO ramdisks on general purpose PCs are a complete waste
of good memory.
