[SOLVED] Random flashing vertical white line on screen

Hi!


So I keep getting a wide vertical white line on my screen mainly on the left however it happens so instantaneous that I’m unable to get a picture of it, I’m not sure what could be the cause nothing has changed recently except for I fresh installed windows 10 onto an ssd. I’m worried incase it becomes something more frequent an then permanent

Specs: evga gtx 1080ti
I5 7600k no overclock
24gb ram
Asus maximus ix motherboard
System is maybe 2-3 years old

Make sure your video drivers are up-to-date. If you have another monitor available you can connect it as a second display to see if the line appears on both monitors. If so, the GPU may be the problem. At least you will know it's not the monitor or cable if that happens.
