Razer Carcharias - Low/bad bass..?

It says right on the box and every site advertising it that it has deep and booming bass, but when I listen to tunes that would vibrate my head on my previous headphones (Turtle Beach X12), there's barely a squeak of bass. Sure it's there, but it's barely noticeable and it's DEFINITELY not deep and booming.

Am I missing a good sound card or do these just suck?

The Turtle Beach X12's that I got were $60-$70 and they were pretty much two subwoofers strapped to my ears. They made both sides of my head just vibrate.

It all depends on how they're manufactured, who they're manufactured by, and what they're manufactured for.

Considering that your turtle beaches had good bass, and nothing changed, I'd guess that it's just the size of the drivers and how they're balanced.
