Question read speeds are less than half my write speeds on an NVME SSD

so I bought a new budget ssd drive mainly for storage purposes
Kingston NV1 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe

and I am using it with this enclosure

I am getting the same results wether i use it with my desktop or MAcbook Air M2

regardless of speeds its bizarre how read speeds are 1/3rd of the write speeds
does anyone have an explanation ?
