Hello all,

My girlfriend and I just built her first PC. Everything seems to be going okay, but when we first boot it up BIOS is reading the CPU voltage at 2.5v. No overclocking or changes to any settings; this readout is the first thing we saw. Any ideas why it could be so high?

Specs:
Ryzen 5 5600
AMD Radeon RX 7600
Asus Prime B550M motherboard
PowerSpec 650W

Thanks in advance!

It's unlikely to be accurate; you wouldn't have a CPU right now.

Thank you for the quick replies. So do you think I could ignore it for now? And is there another program that could give me an accurate reading for peace of mind?

Just for your peace of mind try monitoring voltages and temps with HWinfo (click on the red text for the download page).

VCore would be the main thing you'll be looking at. Check it in idle, and under load situations.
