I'm using a Dell laptop and when I plug my headphones on shows this pop up and I have to click on it in order to use it but now every time I plug my headphones on it doesn't show the pop up, making my headphones unable to use. How do I deal with this? oh and I'm using a Windows 10

Solution
Hi, try this:

Go into control panel (Win+R and type control.exe).
Open Realtek HD Audio Manager.
On the top/right you'll see a little folder, click on it and uncheck the box to "Disable front panel jack detection" if its checked. Choose OK.
