Question Reapply thermal paste to new computer that has been in closet for 2 years.

I built a new computer about 2 years ago (ryzen 9, noctua cpu fan) but due to personal things i could not use it. I am finally back home and can use it. However, i'm worried that maybe i should reapply the thermal paste that has been sitting in there for 2 years unused. Is that necessary or can i leave it as is?

Don't fix something you don't know is broken. Boot it and monitor. Then fix it if broken.
