Reboot and select proper boot device windows 7

Hello,
Well, the problem began when I was watching a video in youtube, from all of a sudden, the image on the screen froze, but i could move the mouse cursor, I was familiarized to this because i had the same problem in my laptop, so I tried to turn off the PC with alt-f4 and enter key (it would turn off the PC) but the PC crashed, so I had to turn off the PC, when I tried to turn it on, i had the problem of "reboot and select proper boot device..." I've tried to use all the way to boot the PC, but it was a total failure, so I dont know what to do, help!

Maybe, but the computer is actually Brand-New, just one month old, I think that it may be a virus, a RAM problem or dust...

then Scan with your Anti-Virus program, dust i highly doubt cause dust doesn't build up that quick. As for ram you have to do a test call memtest86.

Maybe the problem is the OS, because just a few hours before the crash I installed some windows updates, Should i try to get a Bootable disk with the Windows 7 Home Basic OS ( I don't have one).

Yes, Ill try it tomorrow though, because I dont have a CD with the OS, neither any backup CD (The PC is an Acer by the way, I just had a guide for the screen) I dont what to do either, Ill check in google for help and ways to restore or repair the OS, thanks for the help 😀.

maybe your computer is not picking up the hard drive correctly. because it said reboot and pick proper boot device.

Do u see the HDD listed?

Yes, I saw the HDD, it is there.

U may try to unplug it and plug it back.

I did try to select it, nothing changes. Yet Ive been able to reach the part where I tried to run "Windows normally", Ive never been able to get past through that.

Keep pressing F8 button during the BIOS start up.

It is an Acer Aspire Ax3950, It has got Windows 7 home basic, Intel core I3, an amount of 1 terabite oh memory and 3 GB of RAM, and an Intel GMA HD for graphics.
