Receiving fax/distinguishing Ring Master

Dear angels,
I have Windows XP Professional and Fax Console, which I have just (tried to)
configure. I have 3 phone NUMBERS on the same phone line, one which I am
dedicating as a fax number. According to DELL my modem CAN distinguish
between rings, however, the PC Fax is picking up any of the phone numbers
regardless of the ring style. PLEASE HELP....

Distinctive Ring is not supported by Windows XP. Therefore, Windows XP Fax
will answer every incoming call it receives. The alternative is to install
an external switching device to your phone line. You can find some here:
