Hi All,

Our family PC that we have had for 3 or so years (Dell Alienware Aurora R7 running Window 10 home has started to crash lately. Typically, the computer freezes and then the monitor goes dark (still power to it) and the computer doesn't restart. I need to force a restart at the on/off button. From the reliability report, I am getting errors similar to this one:

Description
A problem with your hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly.

My son has been gaming much more than normal during quarantine, but he normally asks me permission before downloading anything. Any ideas where to start or how to further troubleshoot this?

Thanks!

code 141 usualy appears due to bad drivers or 3rd party apps
try clean boot to see if some installed software is causing it
here is guide for clean boot
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd
if u get no issues with clean boot, then keep enabling one software by one until it starts causing issues again

if u get issues with cleanboot aswell, then some of your drivers should be reinstalled
