I am new to building computers and I don’t really know what I’m doing. The whole thing seems quite confusing. However I know a bit about specs as I had a gaming laptop which I’m replacing now with a desktop PC. I’m building it as I heard it is cheaper than buying a prebuilt and more reliable.

Here is the specs of what I want - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/wKtrmD

I was just wondering, since I’m not really too familiar with this stuff is everything there perfectly compatible? The thing I’m most concerned about is the power source. I’m not sure if I got a good PSU, as I was trying to stay on a good budget while getting decent what I thought was the right thing.
I also wanted to know if the CPU is good for this GPU, and wether there will be any bottlenecking, and wether these are good choices right now or if there’s better CPU/GPU or anything else in the list for better prices or (trying to stay in a budget range) or even anything that I could add to make it better. Thanks.

Ah yeah, my bad. I’ll just have to go for the slightly more expensive one you chose

Yeah, I was just about to change the motherboard for that one it’s the only choice I have in that case. So everything here is good and should work fine?
You're good to go ^^
That board won't handle that unlocked cpu due to its poor VRM's. You will suffer thermal throttling. Also look for a better psu.

A better look at that board, cpu, cooler and psu.

I see. But isn’t this cpu much weaker? I liked the other cpu as it showed to have good performance in games that are cpu heavy, and is future proof.

I posted two builds, the second build includes the 12600KF. If you need integrated graphics then switch that cpu out with the 12600K.
Ii see. I don’t need integrated graphics at all as I’ll be using my GPU, the 6800 Rx. However I was saying that the with i5 12600f you recommended, I don’t think it’s as good as the 12600k. are there any stronger cpus, ones on the same level as the 12600k that are compatible with the motherboard I chose? Or should I just get a different motherboard.

The 12600K (integrated graphics) and 12600KF (no integrated graphics) are identical. Same cpu. Those cpu's are solid and won't bottleneck your gpu.

i don’t understand, you said earlier that this cpu, which is the one I chose, will cause thermal throttling as it’s incompatible with my motherboard, now your saying I should get it?

Notice how I used this board in those builds I posted.

Your original list was almost OK.
You needed to buy a better motherboard one with adequate power delivery and cooling for the processor.
Better quality power supply.
The processor has no cooler so that needs to be added.

An I see now that’s my bad. How about this one? https://www.newegg.com/global/uk-en/asrock-b650m-pro-rs/p/N82E16813162131?Item=N82E16813162131 it is slightly more expensive than the one you recommended, but I need to buy one from this website as I’m buying my CPU from the same website as a free shipping bundle. It also comes with WiFi.

If the motherboard comes with WiFi then you're all good to go ^^
I see. Can I maybe instead of buying a motherboard with WiFi, instead buy a much cheaper one without WiFi and get a cheap WiFi card instead? I saw one for only £11 and other motherboards for less than £100 that should be compatible
