I have a socket 939 cpu and 2 G 184-pin DDR Ram. Gonna be getting a PCI-E video card soon but I need some help choosing a motherboard. Would some of you please offer some ideas :?:

I'm currently using an ASUS A8N-SLI Premier and am happy with it. No plans for SLI but it had on board firewire that I wanted for my camcorder

Most of the favorite boards are no longer available. If you have $150, Newegg still offers the Asus A8N32-SLI. If you are on a budget, the MSI NEO4 is still available (not from Newegg). Newegg has a selection of Foxconn boards. They are OK if spartan. Look for a board that uses the NForce4 chipset if possible. NVidia 6100/6150 mATX boards using integrated graphics are also OK, but don't sound like the direction you want to go. Avoid SIS and VIA chipsets.

I use the A8N32-SLI, it's as solid as a rock.. never a problem

My DFI nF4-DAGF has worked great for me. It's a nice basic board which would probably overclock quite well, if you're so inclined (I'm not).
