I have some old family videos and other things on my Windows PC hard drive that are a) needing of trimming where there are long periods where nothing is happening; b) one or two has audio out of synch with video. I'd like to be able to resolve that as easily as possible; and c) some are absolutely vast in size, and date back years - I'm sure modern software should be able to recode them into something much more manageable. I'd like to know what is the most appropriate software out there for these purposes. I dont need any fancy stuff, I just want to be able to do as I have described as simply as possible. Hope someone can advise. Thanks

MS used to have a package that did all that. I used to use it to make mp3's for YouTube. lol, Movie Creator is free at the MS Store, check it out.
