Question Recommended amount/size of RAM to use for PLEX Transcoding?

Hi all, I have 8GB RAM on my Home Server, is 4GB enough for Transcoding PLEX & does it matter if multiple people are using it at once and if yes to that, what is the Minimum amount/size RAM you'd use for 5 streams as that should be the max at any one time? Thanks much
